a tender escape

The room was very large. It had everything i needed, even sweet small chocolates! the breakfast had everything we could think of and more. All were offered with friendly and efficient service and were very clean indeed. even the vents providing the air cooling were clean. we booked this place last minute and are very glad, we did.
the mattress was too soft, and consequently bad for the back. i also didn't like the views i saw from my window. i wished that, for the price i paid, it would have been better. the location is far from the center, which i knew before i booked.

The breakfast offered varied choices and quality food. Even the coffee tasted fresh. staff were very attentive and helpful with all our requests. i especially loved the pastries. They were warm and delicious.

The hotel boasts secure underground car park. This feature gave me peace of mind. the hotel also has direct access onto themes riverbank. This is fantastic for walking and running into major tourist areas. i saw many people walking around.

the room was spacious and very clean with thoughtful facilities. the bathroom was also large and complete with all necessary amenities. i liked the interesting design for a hotel and rooms, original art with good taste.

i found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. the breakfast had a good choice of foods. i appreciated the river boat stop being only a 5 minute walk away. the bus stop was also close by, taking you to victoria tube station.

mixed feelings about this stay
faulty switchestacky decor
i was disappointed with the room i initially received the water tank was quite noisy and placed inside a cupboard. the light switches were faulty which added to the frustration. the decor felt somewhat tacky a letdown considering what i expected.
